Austrian Media Authority Rules ORF Public Council Appointment Illegal

Austria's media authority, KommAustria, has ruled that the ORF Public Council violated the law with an appointment, as the mandate was incompatible with a function in an ÖVP organization. Competitors for a seat on the Foundation Council and ORF fee payers had filed complaints.
