Milano Cortina: De Silvestro gold, 14th medal for all-time Italian record

(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 13 - Italy won its sixth gold medal at the Milano Cortina Winter Paralympics in the men's sitting giant slalom Friday. Rene De Silvestro won the race on the Olympia delle Tofane slope, beating Dutchman Niels De Langen and Norwegian Jesper Pedersen. The Italian team thus broke the Paralympic medal record with 14 overall podium finishes, one more than Lillehammer in 1994. (ANSA). Read article...
