Spelling Error in Candidate's Name on Ballot Papers

The name of the Reform Party's lead candidate in Akureyri, Lovísa Oktovía Eyvindsdóttir, was misspelled on ballot papers yesterday, with the second 'o' in her middle name changed to an 'a', appearing as Oktavía.

Nafn oddvita Viðreisnar á Akureyri var vitlaust stafsett á kjörseðlum í gær. Oddvitinn ber nafnið Lovísa Oktovía Eyvindsdóttir en á seðlinum hafði seinna o-inu í millinafninu verið breytt í a. Það stóð því Oktavía á seðlinum.
