Universal Extends Exclusive Theatrical Runs for Movies to Seven Weekends

Universal Pictures has announced a new policy to give its movies longer exclusive runs in theaters, guaranteeing a minimum of five weekends and extending to seven weekends starting next year, a significant increase from the pandemic-era policy of three weekends.
