India Approves Extension of Delhi-Meerut RRTS to Haridwar and Rishikesh

The Indian government has granted in-principle approval for the extension of the Delhi-Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System. The rail project will now connect Modipuram in Meerut to the pilgrimage cities of Haridwar and Rishikesh, aiming to transform connectivity between the two states.
