Istanbul Approves Organized Labor Day Events, Bans Central Gatherings

The Istanbul Governor’s Office has sanctioned two official rallies for May 1 Labor and Solidarity Day in Kadıköy and Kartal, while simultaneously imposing a ban on all demonstrations and public gatherings in four central districts.
