Gorilla Undergoes Groundbreaking Skull Surgery for Infection
A 12-year-old gorilla named Mizani has received what is believed to be the world's first skull surgery of its kind, a mastoidectomy, to treat a severe infection that had spread into parts of his skull behind the ear.
