EasyJet Agrees to £5.7 Billion Takeover by US Private Equity Firm Apollo
EasyJet has agreed to a £5.7 billion takeover by the US private equity firm Apollo, after a rival bidder withdrew its offer. Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, the airline's founder, has expressed support for the proposed acquisition.
