Head-on Collision Averted Between Passenger and Freight Trains in Slovakia

A passenger train and a freight train narrowly avoided a head-on collision on a single-track section between Trnovec nad Váhom and Tvrdošovce in Slovakia. The incident caused a nearly two-hour disruption to rail traffic, and the cause is currently under investigation.
