Exoplanet Discovered with Inherited Chemistry from Parent Star
Astronomers have discovered exoplanet WASP-189b, whose atmospheric composition directly reflects the chemistry of its parent star, a finding made using the Immersion Grating Infrared Spectrometer (IGRINS) at the Gemini South telescope.
