Latvian Volunteers Rescue 3,500 Toads in Annual Campaign
This year, the fifth annual toad rescue mission organized by the Nature Conservation Agency (DAP) in Latvia saved 3,500 toads. Volunteers helped the amphibians cross roads to reach their spawning grounds after waking from winter hibernation.
