Expedition Discovers Uncharted Island in Antarctic Weddell Sea
An international expedition aboard the icebreaker Polarstern has discovered an island in the Weddell Sea, Antarctica, that was previously unlisted on maps. The discovery was announced by the Alfred Wegener Institute.
