Finnish Woman Loses €8,000 in Facebook Scam, Bank Not Liable
A woman in Finland lost nearly 8,000 euros after a scammer tricked her into approving a bank transfer during a Facebook marketplace transaction. The Consumer Disputes Board ruled that the bank is not obligated to compensate the lost sum.
