Proposal for Dam Owners to Fund Beach Sand Replenishment in Portugal

A new opinion from the National Council for Environment and Sustainable Development (CNADS) suggests that dam concessionaires should contribute to beach sand replenishment, as their infrastructure retains sediments that would otherwise reach the coast.
