Woman gives birth on ship delayed by rough seas before reaching Leyte

TACLOBAN CITY, Philippines – A woman safely gave birth aboard a passenger vessel bound for Hilongos, Leyte, early Friday, July 10, after rough seas delayed the ship’s arrival. The 25-year-old woman delivered a healthy baby boy with the assistance of crew members of the MV Joyful Stars of Roble Shipping Lines at around 4 a.m.
