Oil-like Substance Leaks into Morava River in Czech Republic, Firefighters Respond

An oil-like substance has leaked into the Morava River near Otrokovice and Kroměříž in the Czech Republic. Firefighters from the Zlín Region are deploying booms to contain the spill and prevent its further spread.

Do řeky Morava v úterý odpoledne unikla nad Bělovským jezem u Otrokovic neznámá látka. Na místě zasahují hasiči, položením norných stěn se snaží zabránit dalšímu šíření. Hasiči Zlínského kraje o tom v úterý večer informovali na svém facebooku. Podle zástupců města Otrokovice unikla do řeky ropná látka. Na událost upozornily Zlínský deník a Česká televize.
