Threatened Takahē Population Thrives in New Zealand's Rees Valley

The Rees Valley near Glenorchy, New Zealand, has become home to the largest wild population of the threatened takahē bird species outside its original Fiordland habitat, thanks to years of predator control and trapping efforts.
