Investigation launched into alleged preferential treatment for Polish senator's son at hospital

Poland's National Health Fund has launched an investigation into a hospital in Aleksandrów Kujawski after the son of KO Senator Tomasz Lenz allegedly received a medical procedure without proper documentation and bypassed the queue. The hospital president has confirmed irregularities.

Narodowy Fundusz Zdrowia wszczął kontrolę w Szpitalu Powiatowym w Aleksandrowie Kujawskim. To tam - bez dokumentacji medycznej i z pominięciem kolejki - miał przejść zabieg syn senatora KO Tomasza Lenza. Prezes szpitala potwierdza, że doszło do nieprawidłowości. Głos zabrał też szef MSWiA Marcin Kierwiński.
