Historic Brenner Base Tunnel Connects Italy and Austria
Builders of the Brenner Base Tunnel on the Italian-Austrian border have broken through the final rock barriers, connecting the two countries with eastern and western railway tunnels approximately 1400 meters deep under the Brenner Pass.
