Japan's LDP Approves Bill to Establish Disaster Prevention Agency
A bill to establish a new 'Disaster Prevention Agency' in Japan, intended as the command center for disaster countermeasures, has been approved by a Liberal Democratic Party meeting and is expected to be submitted to the Diet in early March.
