Jihlava Residents Petition Against Truck Traffic, Company Complies

Residents in Jihlava, Czech Republic, successfully petitioned against increased truck traffic in their city. A company, Automotive Lighting, agreed to limit additional daily truck movements to five, instead of the originally planned dozens.

‚Pět kamionů denně.‘ Lidé v Jihlavě sepsali petici proti nákladním autům ve městě, firma jim ustoupila

Maximálně pět kamionů denně navíc bude jezdit po Znojemské ulici v Jihlavě do skladů v areálu firmy Jihlavan. Kvůli snižování nákladů si je tam pronajala firma Automotive Lighting. Původní plány přitom počítaly s nárůstem několika desítek nákladních aut za den. Lidé proti tomu sepsali petici.
