Portugal's Russian Gas Imports Rise; EU Ban Looms

A new shipment in June has increased Portugal's imports of Russian liquefied natural gas to 8% of its national total for the first half of the year. The European Union plans to prohibit all Russian gas imports by the end of 2027.
