Large Fires Erupt on Čiovo Island, Croatia, Caused by Lightning

Large open-space fires have broken out on Čiovo Island and in Kaštel Sućurac, near Split, Croatia. The fires were caused by lightning strikes during a severe storm that hit the Split area, with one fire approaching residential homes.
