Singapore Shortens Timber Scaffold Use for Fire Safety After Hong Kong Fire Review

Singapore will reduce the permitted use of timber scaffolds from nine months to three months to enhance fire safety, a decision made after the government reviewed initial findings from the fatal Wang Fuk Court fire in Hong Kong.
