Japanese Supermarket Rice Prices Fall for Seventh Consecutive Week

The average price of 5 kilograms of rice at supermarkets across Japan fell to 3,935 yen (including tax) in the week ending March 29, marking the seventh consecutive week of price declines. This trend was reported by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.
