Forest Growth in Serbia Linked to Rural Depopulation, Uneven Distribution Noted

On World Forest Day, the Dean of the Faculty of Forestry in Belgrade, Branko Stajić, stated that while the overall condition of forests in Serbia is satisfactory, their distribution is uneven, with depopulation in rural areas contributing to forest growth.
