Shingles burden underestimated in India, experts call for life-course vaccination strategy

Though often dismissed as a skin rash, shingles can lead to chronic nerve pain, vision loss and neurological complications, yet experts say India continues to underestimate its true burden, particularly among older adults and those living with chronic illnesses.
