Dutch Senate Rejects Emergency Asylum Law, Approves Two-Status System
The Dutch Senate has rejected the emergency asylum measures law but approved the introduction of a two-status system for asylum seekers. The emergency law was voted down after a proposed relaxation of its terms failed to gain a majority.
