Icelandic Fisheries Companies Oppose Bill to Abolish Line and Shellfish Subsidies
Nine fisheries companies and fish processing plants in the Westfjords of Iceland are strongly opposing a bill from the Minister of Infrastructure that would abolish line incentives and shellfish and shrimp subsidies, fearing the abandonment of settlements.
