Amazon Falls Short on Job Creation Pledges for Virginia Headquarters

Amazon is significantly behind schedule in creating the jobs it promised in exchange for funding to build its Virginia headquarters. The company has created just over 7,000 jobs, far short of the nearly halfway mark towards its 25,000-job goal by 2038.
