Czech Republic to Spend 80 Million CZK on Remediation of Contaminated Quarry
A former quarry near Skuteč, Czech Republic, is heavily contaminated with heavy metals and chemicals from a bicycle manufacturing plant that used it as a dump since the 1970s. The state will allocate 80 million Czech crowns for the cleanup of the hazardous waste.
