Nakon izrade stručne analize koju su proveli Rudarsko-geološko-naftni i Metalurški fakultet Sveučilišta u Zagrebu, projekt proizvodnje magnezija na području Kupresa dobio je sveobuhvatnu tehničku i naučnu podlogu za dalju raspravu. U nalazu se ističe da se radi o dokazanoj i pouzdanoj tehnologiji, dok investitor naglašava da se projekt izgradnje proizvodnog pogona neće razvijati suprotno zakonu, EU standardima niti bez podrške lokalne zajednice.
