No Signs of Icelandic Volcanic Eruption Ending Despite Pause
Despite a slow magma accumulation and a long pause in activity, there are no indications that the volcanic eruption series on the Sundhnúksgígaröðin (Reykjanes Peninsula) is concluding. Magma intrusions and eruptions remain the most likely scenario, according to the Icelandic Met Office.
