Latvia Reports Fewer Grass Fires in Municipalities with Prevention Efforts
Latvian authorities report a decrease in grass fires in municipalities actively engaged in prevention work, despite sunny weather encouraging early burning. Over the past weekend, 55 grass fires were extinguished, and one person was injured.
