Malta Government Acknowledges €6.7 Billion in Uncollected Tax Dues Unlikely to Be Recovered
New figures presented in the Maltese Parliament reveal that the government has accumulated over €8.1 billion in tax arrears by the end of 2024. Finance Minister Clyde Caruana admitted that more than €6.7 billion of this amount is now considered unlikely to ever reach state coffers.
