Latvian Parliament Rejects Proposal to Reduce Tree Felling Age
The Latvian Saeima (parliament) rejected a proposal by the Union of Greens and Farmers (ZZS) to amend the Forest Law, which would have reduced the felling age for several tree species, including pine and spruce, by 20 years.
