Early morning alcohol sales in Canada for ice hockey final

Canadians will be able to have a few drinks while watching their team play the United States in the Olympic ice hockey final in Italy as provinces are allowing the sale of alcohol in bars and restaurants earlier than usual for the big occasion. Ontario Prime Minister Doug Ford said on X that alcohol can go on sale from 6 am (1100 GMT), with the gold medal match in the nation's number one sport starting at 8:10 am.
