Dansk Folkeparti vil fjerne muligheden for »permanent opholdstilladelse«. Folk uden dansk statsborgerskab skal ikke kunne leve af sociale ydelser som kontanthjælp og førtidspension. Arbejdstagere fra lande uden for EU skal desuden ifølge DF tegne en forsikring, hvis de vil have adgang til velfærdsydelser.
