Israel Launches Heavy Bombardment on Beirut, Casualties Reported

Israel conducted heavy, unannounced bombardments on central Beirut, resulting in at least six deaths and dozens injured. Lebanese authorities also reported shelling in the southern part of the country.

Co najmniej sześć osób nie żyje, a kilkadziesiąt jest rannych - to bilans nocnego ataku Izraela na centrum Bejrutu. Władze Libanu przekazały, że ostrzelana też została południowa część kraju. W Bejrucie Izrael miał zaatakować gęsto zaludnione rejony. Uderzenie nastąpiło bez zwyczajowego uprzedzenia.
