Italy Open to Germany Joining Fighter Jet Project, Says Leonardo Chief

Lorenzo Mariani, head of Leonardo, stated that Italy is open to Germany joining the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP) fighter jet project. He acknowledged that a German role would slow progress but bring significant benefits following the collapse of the rival FCAS programme.
