Japan Gifts 250 Cherry Trees to U.S. for 250th Anniversary

Japan is gifting 250 cherry trees to the United States to mark the U.S.'s 250th birthday. This follows a previous donation of about 3,000 cherry trees in 1912 that line the Potomac River in Washington.
