Italy proposal for Lebanon, direct control of areas and monitoring with UN

(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 16 - Italy's proposed plan for a possible new UN mission in Lebanon includes monitoring, observation, and reporting along the Blue Line with temporary observation posts, limited mobile patrols, and direct control of areas, in line with Resolution 1701, sources said Thursday.
