My analogue living challenge: What one Gen Z writer learned from swapping her smartphone for cameras, books, vinyl records and VHS tapes

Like many members of Gen Z – those born between 1997 and 2012 – technological advances have been major events in my childhood. I remember seeing footage of Steve Jobs on the Six One news when Apple launched the iPad. It was going to revolutionise the way we lived in the same way the telephone or home computer did for generations preceding mine.
