Japan's PM Takaichi to Decide on Consumption Tax Reduction Amid Disagreement

Following a cross-party 'National Council' meeting that failed to reach a consensus on reducing the consumption tax on food, Prime Minister Takaichi stated she would promptly consider the government and ruling party's policy and make a decision soon.
