Astronomers Discover Thousands of New Asteroids, Including Near-Earth Objects

Astronomers from the Vera C. Rubin Observatory have detected over 11,000 new asteroids and re-identified tens of thousands of known objects, with 33 previously unknown near-Earth objects among the latest discoveries.
