Istat revises up estimate for Italy's first-quarter growth to 0.3%

(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 29 - Istat said Friday that it had revised up its estimate for Italy's GDP growth in the first quarter of 2026 with respect to the previous three months to 0.3% from 0.2%. The national statistics agency said that it has also revised up its figure for Italy's year-on-year GDP rise in the first quarter by 0.1 of a percentage point to 0.8%. The carry-over annual GDP growth for 2026 is 0.6%, it said, after revising upward this figure by 0.1 of a point too. (ANSA). Read article...
