Polish Ministry of Finance Clarifies PESEL Requirement on Invoices

The Polish Ministry of Finance has stated that entrepreneurs are not required to include a natural person's PESEL number on invoices for non-business activities or in revenue and expense ledgers.

W księdze nie musi być PESEL kontrahenta

Przedsiębiorca, który wystawia fakturę dla osoby fizycznej nieprowadzącej działalności gospodarczej, nie ma obowiązku podawania jej numeru PESEL. Nie musi go też wpisywać do księgi przychodów i rozchodów. Takie jest stanowisko Ministerstwa Finansów.
