Former Finance Minister Centeno Called to Portuguese Parliament Over Incorrect Deficit Forecasts
Portugal's PSD and CDS parties are summoning former Finance Minister Mário Centeno to parliament to account for his erroneous predictions of a 2025 deficit, which instead turned out to be a 0.7% GDP surplus. Centeno is currently described as "retired and a pensioner in Florida."
