Man Caught Smuggling Undeclared Gold Bars Worth 19 Million Lei at Leușeni Border
A driver attempting to cross the Leușeni customs post into Moldova claimed to have no goods to declare, but customs inspectors found seven undeclared gold bars worth 19 million lei in his vehicle. The driver and the scheme's organizer were arrested.
