Political analyst Török Gábor commented on the Forsthoffer–Magyar clash, describing it as the first serious public conflict involving the Tisza Party. He noted that he couldn't recall a Speaker of Parliament withdrawing the word from a sitting Prime Minister over substantive issues since the change of regime.
